Martin Luther King Day Celebration for Kids

Make your day off count! Join the Museum of the Grand Prairie as we explore the rich cultural heritage of the African American community in Champaign County on this Martin Luther King Day. We will learn about the life of Dr. King, celebrate his legacy, and explore how we can keep his mission alive today. Activities will include several crafts celebrating MLK’s life and legacy. Ages 5-12. $5 per child. Adults must accompany children. Space is limited; registration required by Jan 9th at ccfpd.org.

Current public health guidelines will be followed. Program may be altered or canceled due to weather or health related concerns.
